Premier League: Watford 0-0 Southampton

Southampton were held by Watford in a lacklustre draw as both await their first win of the season.

Neither side managed to break the deadlock while the Hornets are still searching for a home goal back in the top-flight.

Meanwhile Southampton were dealt a blow as Sadio Mane was substituted after 25 minutes with an injury.

The hosts looked dangerous despite zero attempts on target and narrowly missed an opportunity to take the lead through Etienne Capoue’s header on 66 minutes.

Ikechi Anya made to superb first half crosses but Tom Deeney and Odion Ighalo could not take advantage.
